We bet everything on EV charging in 2010.
Turns out, it was the right call.
I started Minnesota EV Charger Installation in 2010 when most electricians still thought "EV charger installation" meant running a standard outlet to the garage. The industry was at a tipping point — Tesla had just delivered the Roadster, the Nissan Leaf was about to change everything, and I could see that homeowners and businesses were going to need specialists, not generalists. I sold my van, borrowed a trailer, and spent six months doing nothing but EV charging installations and talking to every fleet manager, property developer, and early adopter who would take my call. Fifteen years later, Minnesota EV Charger Installation has installed thousands of charging stations across the Twin Cities and beyond. We are still the only call you need to make.

What started as a one-man operation with a borrowed trailer and a deep belief that the EV revolution would be bigger than anyone predicted has grown into a team of eleven specialists—each hired specifically for EV charging expertise, not general electrical work.
Over the past fifteen years we have installed chargers in single-family garages, multi-unit parking structures, corporate campuses, municipal fleets, and everything in between. Every job has made us sharper—better at reading load panels, smarter about utility interconnection timelines, and quicker to spot the installation details that generic electricians miss.
